BRUCE ZINGER'S GRAVEL / CYCLOCROSS BICYCLE

Photography by Bruce Zinger Bruce Zinger was the lucky winner of the 2015 Morning Glory Cycling Club's annual Mariposa raffle. It has been a pleasure building Bruce this CX/gravel bike. Bruce is a well seasoned road rider and bicycle commuter who is looking to expand his adventures onto the gravel and cyclocross trails. He liked the simplicity and precision of the SRAM 1x11 group, hydraulic disc brakes and Chris King hubs and headset. With a desire to ride comfortably on the trails at low tire pressure, Challenge Alamanzo tubular tires and strong alloy HED Belgium rims were selected. As a professional photographer, Bruce has a keen sense for detail and colour, which made this project fun for all of us. In selecting colour, he took inspiration from "Pantone's Color(s) of the Year" in choosing Serenity blue for the main colour of this frame, with a Rose Quartz panel and Red MARIPOSA wordmark and butterfly. Pink Chris King R45 hubs and headset created regal compliment.
