Mariposa Cycling Team News October 30, 2019

We are well into the cyclocross season and the Mariposa youth racers have been racking up podium finishes in the Ontario Provincial Championships and the Ontario Cup race series. The Masters, Elites and U23 riders have also been performing well. This weekend the National Championships will be held in Peterborough, ON on a tough technical and hilly course. The final races of the season will be the following week in Midland ON at the Silver Goose/Pan American championships.   Bas Stroomberg has had a super strong season in the youth category with a couple of victories under his belt, as well as a several podium finishes in the Youth C Category. Ashlin has been battling it out in the Youth B Category and has notched one victory and a few podium finishes. Last weekend he won the Ontario Provincial U-15 Cyclocross Race. Mack Feasby racing in the U-15 Category at the Ontario Provincial Championships Jack Ciotlos rode to 5th place in the U-23 Category at Ontario Provicinal Championships. It was his first cyclocross race of the season, after a successful Mountain Bike Fall race season with Queens University in the University series.
