We took a beat up 1990s Desmarais Cyclocross frame, that was ridden by two time provincial road champ Joe Guilliano, stripped it, sand blasted it, built a new fork (the fork was not salvageable) and converted it into a commuter that can be ridden in most weather conditions either on the trails or road. The paint was inspired by “Le Petit Prince” and an old 1930’s CCM flyer that hangs in the workshop. This ‘treader’ has hub generated dynamo lighting, cyclocross Schwalbe G-One 35 mm tires, Honjo fenders and a mixture of other old and new components. It now will live on and be enjoyed for many more years.
