The DT XM421 is an excellent Trail / XC rim.  25mm internal width, light weight and fast, but designed to handle more.  It’s extremely strong for XC and is excellent in its ability to reach further into the full suspension/Trail riding spectrum.  These wheels will work without fuss over roots, ruts, small drops, or basic everyday riding trails.  If you’re into racing, riding hard, or you simply prefer to buy really nice gear, this is great wheelset.
