The Canadian National Track Cycling Championships for Juniors / U-17 / Para were held last weekend in Milton, ON.  It was a great opportunity for the youth to test themselves against the best riders from across the country, but also it was a real bonus to watch and learn from current Junior World Champions, Dylan Bibic and Carson Mattern. Team Mariposa had a great weekend, winning 4 golds, 2 silvers, and 3 bronze medals in the U-17 Category. From a spectator’s perspective it was a thrill to watch the kids speed around the boards, bumping elbows in the bunch races or flying around in their aero bars in the timed events. They all put on a good show.

There is racing at the Mattamy Cycling Centre throughout the winter. The schedule is here. Come watch or ride.

We hope you enjoy the photo gallery taken by Ivan Rupes, Dave Anthony, Matthew Chan Tin and Conan Shing.
