What to cook this week.
Fruit Crisp
- Ingredients and directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F / 176C
- Prepare 3 cups peeled and cored Apples, raspberries, cherries, blueberries and/or other fruit
- Melt 1/2 cup butter
- Mix butter with:
- 1 cup White Flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Put half of this pastry mixture into a well-greased 9″ x 9″
- Scatter the fruit mix over it
- Cover the fruit with the remaining half of the pastry mixture
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until brown.
