What to cook this week.

Fruit Crisp

  • Ingredients and directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350F / 176C
  • Prepare 3 cups peeled and cored Apples, raspberries, cherries, blueberries and/or other fruit
  • Melt 1/2 cup butter
  • Mix butter with:
    • 1 cup White Flour
    • 1 cup quick oats
    • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • Put half of this pastry mixture into a well-greased 9″ x 9″
  • Scatter the fruit mix over it
  • Cover the fruit with the remaining half of the pastry mixture
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until brown.
