What to cook.
Banana Blueberry Bread
- 1 loaf
- Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Ingredients:
For the bread:
- 1 stick of butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon backing soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup of blueberries
For the topping:
- 3 Tablespoons of chopped walnuts or peacans
- 2 Tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9 x 5 inch bread pan or line with parchment paper.
- Using an electric mixer, cream butter, add brown sugar, eggs and bananas and mix until no lumps remain.
- Stir dry ingredients together and then mix with banana mixture until well combined. Pour into prepared pan.
- Mix topping with mortar and pestle and then cover the top of the bread dough.
- Bake about 55 to 65 minutes. Cool before cutting and eating.
