A road bicycle custom built for Team Mariposa cyclist, Marshall Eidinger with ENVE stem, handlebars, seatpost, Lezyne pump and K-Edge Garmin mount painted to match. Marshall’s colour inspiration came from old English pea coats (navy jacket and gold buttons) and the colors of Notre Dame University. Marshall’s grandmother escaped Nazi Germany by boat so the pea coat is somewhat apt. Her father, a gold jeweler, made gold buttons and put them on each family member’s jacket so that the family would have some form of currency when they got to their destination which ended up being Shanghai, China. The Nazis never expected fleeing immigrants to have actual gold in their buttons.
