Description
We have a select number of sizes available, and based on current demand they will sell out quickly. Designed by Tom Ritchey who rides about 10,000 miles (16,000 km) per year, and most of that is off-road. Ritchey has a deep knowledge of off road riding and bicycle geometry. The Outback was awarded “Best Bike Packing Bike”.
The Outback has several practical and adaptable features make the bike versatile. Rack and fender mounts help to keep things dry and expand the load-carrying capacity for longer bikepacking adventures, while clearance for 700c x 48mm or 650b x 2.0in tires allows the bicycle to be used on extremely rough terrain. The frame accepts flat-mount disc calipers, and the new all-carbon fiber Ritchey Adventure Fork. Multi-purpose mounts on the fork blades gives you more places to stow supplies for longer trips.
TIG-welded with proprietary triple-butted Ritchey Logic steel tubing, the Outback frame is well built, resilient over the harshest terrain and responsive.

David. B (verified owner) –
Purchased this frame from Mariposa a few months ago. That was the best decision I have made in a long time! Frame shipped very quickly and was packaged perfectly. I built the bike up as a heavy-duty gravel/adventure bike. 650B wheels running 47mm tubeless WTB venture tires, XT rear derailleur on a wide-ratio cassette with a 36/52 front chainring setup. Perfect bike for all sorts of adventure. The frame is built to a level of quality that is unmatched! This is the closest you will get to a handmade custom frame for the price of a mass-produced one! My only complaint is that the cables have to be bear on the top and down tube for the front and rear derailleurs, I recommend getting adapters to allow you to run full housed cable the entire length as the current setup limits your bag choices. Other then that this bike is awesome, you wont be disappointed with this frame, long live steel bikes 🙂

Thank you for the feedback David. We hope you have a lot of great adventures on the bike.
