Shimano is the pioneer of electronic shifting, and on this ALFA DISC build we feature their top-of-the-line Dura Ace Di2 9170 drivetrain. Shimano diehards swear by the low-profile Dura Ace shift levers, and who doesn’t love the stealthy metallic finish of each and every component? We marry it up with ENVE 3.4 disc wheelset — featuring ENVE hubs — and an ENVE cockpit. It is also available with Ultegra Di2, Ultegra 8000, SRAM RED AXS and SRAM FORCE AXS build kits.
There is something gloriously pure about the Alfa Disc road machine: Our knock-down, drag-out race bike whose goal is to take each and every one of your watts and transform it into sheer speed. The carbon layup and frame geometry are tuned with care to give you just the right amount of road feel for blasting through twisty roads. The final addition to its performance is actually subtraction — the way we take the edge off the high-frequency chatter from choppy pavement.
The ALFA DISC pairs the very best in technology and performance to timeless design. Allied leverages the very best in carbon raw materials and engineering know-how to deliver a best-in-class race bike, doing so in an elegant and pragmatic way.
Elegance? The near-level top tube of the ALFA DISC hearkens to decades of classic road bike aesthetics with well-designed cable routing and seatpost binder. Pragmatism? Allied dismisses 15 years of senseless blather about new-and-improved bottom brackets and buildt the ALFA DISC with a 68mm threaded design. The Alfa Disc is available in 12 sizes — including “+” sized headtubes, using Innegra fibers at high-stress areas for added durability where you need it most.
The Alfa in two stock colors — Meerblau Blue paint with Meissen Blue decals, or Blood Orange paint with Silver decals. Or you can choose from an assortment of non-stock PPG paint and decal options — including Gloss, Matte and Harlequin — for a $675 CAD upcharge.
