Madison racing is perhaps the most thrilling track cycling event, as two person teams take turns arm-slinging each other into the race. Mariposa riders, Hudson Lubbers and Ashlin Barry teamed up in their first Madison race on March 12 at the Mattamy Velodrome.   They will be back at it this weekend in the final NCI Milton Saturday night race series of the season.  Admission is free, so and come watch the action.  Photography by Mathew Chan Tin.

Dede Barry is a Silver medallist from the 2004 Athens Olympics and multiple medallist of World, National and Pan-American Championships. She is now an owner of Mariposa Bicycles and continues to ride her bike daily in and around Toronto and guides cycling tours internationally.
