Private Group Tour
Starting from the beautiful Portitxol beach in L’Escala, we will explore the northern part of Girona for 3 days. We will ride to the Eastern side of the Cap de Crues peninsula, visiting the seaside village of Cadaques where Salvador Dali spent his childhood summers and Portlligat. There, where we will have the chance to visit the house where Dali lived as an adult and painted some of his famous landscapes. It is a spectacular ride along the Mediterranean Coast and the border of France. This part of the trip will include a visit one of the wineries of D.O. Emporda, the Greek and Roman Ruins of Empuries, the Dali Museum in Figures and an opportunity to relax on the beach and do water sports.
For the second half of the tour we stay in Girona, a walled city with a rich history dating back to the 1st Century. Girona is where many North American cycling professionals are based in Europe and it is known as a culinary capital. Here, you can test yourself on the Rocacorba and Els Angels climbs that the pros ride, visit the church where Salvador Dali was married, shop on the Rambla de Catalunya and walk on the ancient city wall.
